Boca Kitchen to open in downtown Sarasota

Another popular Tampa Bay brand will open its doors in downtown Sarasota this month.

Boca Kitchen, Bar & Market, a farm-to-table-focused restaurant and retailer based in the Hyde Park area of Tampa, will open its fourth location at 19 S. Lemon Ave. by the end of August, according to a news release. BE-1 Concepts, the firm behind Boca, is currently accepting job applications for the new downtown eatery at BocaSarasota.com.

Sarasota’s Boca will seat 160 patrons in total, and includes a 100-seat semi-private mezzanine and a market featuring fresh produce and jams, along with local products, such as SaraFresh Juices, according to the release.

The new restaurant is next to the former Brooks Brothers space and across the street from the historic Gator Club.
