Buyers continue to trickle in to the liquidation sale at the Colony Beach & Tennis Resort.
According to Frank Long, president of International Content Liquidations Inc., the sale has drawn an average of 350 per day since it began Thursday, Dec. 9, and new items continue to go on sale.
“We can’t physically get to everything all at once, so as things sell, the flow continues,” Long said.
Sales of kitchen equipment have been especially strong, and about two-thirds of the Monkey Room furniture has sold. Notable items that remain on the market include two $3,500 glass birdcages that come with birds, a 19th century wood-burning stove priced at $4,000 and multiple pieces of unique artwork.
The sale continues for 14 days from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, and noon to 5 p.m., Sundays.
