The boil water advisory for Lido, St. Armands, Bird and Coon keys was lifted Sept. 15.

The boil water advisory went into effect Sept. 11, after water was shut off to the keys in anticipation of Hurricane Irma.

According to a release from the city, the water in the affected areas was tested for bacteria, and the results showed the water is safe to drink.

A similar boil water advisory was lifted for Longboat Key on Sept. 14.
