Ginny Moss, Phyllis Levinson, Teena Humphrey and Jean Hammett scored 189 to win the three best balls of four Women’s Golf Association event on Cypress Links Aug. 11.

Dale Woodbury, Mike Bridges, Joe Danna and Bob Simes scored 197 to win the three best balls of four net Men’s event on Cypress Links Aug. 12.

Dave Sessions, David Denicoff, Fernando Pires and Matt Fuiks shot 54 to win the Men’s Lakewood Ranch three-ball event on Cypress Links Aug. 15. Hale Campbell, Jim Lapides, Mike Dennett and Vito Melfi shot 62 for second place and Rick Shaw, Jeff Nutson, Bob Simes and Ted Cook shot 73 for third place.

The team of Mike Mayer and Jim Tuohey finished +9 to win the two-man quota MGA event Aug. 12. Jim Long and Ed Heckler finished +8 for second place.

+Rosedale

Angie Brewer scored 15 to win the low putts nine-hole event Aug. 11. Jo Weidenhammer score 16 for second place and Verla Heotis and Jean Troxell both scored 17 to tie for third place.

Barb Sodini and Janet Hannell each shot 61 to tie for first place in Flight 1 of the throw out two holes, one back and one front Ladies Golf Association 18-hole event Aug. 13. Holly O’Shea shot 59 to win Flight 2 while Mary Naylor shot 65 for second place.

Terry O’Shea, Frank Schicano. Joe Zickert and Rich Cicchetti scored 123 to win the Napoleon Bonaparte Classic two best balls of four Nassau Men's Golf Association event Aug. 15. Bill Naylor, Mike Schneider, Matt Rouse and Dick Hass shot 56 to win the front nine and Paul Dain, Bill Sanford, Jeff Hannell and Ed Coleman shot 60 to win the back nine.

Irene Ras, Helen Cuniff and Helen Kunzman shot 54 to win the one best ball of three net WGA event Aug. 11. Sandy Coffman, Mickey Boughton and Jan Hardy shot 58 for second place.

The teams of Richard Albrecht and Les Rogers and Richard Walser and Andy Kusta both shot 63 to tie for first place in the one best ball of two MGA event Aug. 12 at Heritage Oaks.

Bob Fitzgibbons, Richard Haney, Jerry Greenblatt and John Arimond scored 163 to win the two best balls odd, three best balls even MGA event Aug. 12. Arthur Whitson, Darrell Roberts, Dick Meyerson and Bob Honor scored 168 for second place.

Arlene Irons, Carol Hatch and Irene McNamara shot 43 to win the 1-2-1 on 3-3-3 LGA nine-hole event Aug. 13.

Janet Stepp, Cissy Stasiuk, Patti Piazza and Susan Harrison scored 114 to win the two best balls of four Ladies Day event Aug. 11.
