Lady Mustangs tie Lady Indians

The Lakewood Ranch High girls soccer team tied Venice 1-1 in a non-district game Dec. 15. 

Forward Sarah Wolfe scored the Lady Mustangs lone goal while goal keeper Katherine Somodi recorded five saves on the night. 

On Dec. 11, Lakewood shut out St. Pete Lakewood 6-0 in district action. Kaitlyn Kerrigan, Jamie Mineart, Kaitlyn Wolfe, Deana Haller, Sarah Wolfe and Aubrey Riggins each had a goal for the Lady Mustangs. Somodi recorded one save on the night.
