Need … energy
4:50 a.m. — 70 block of South Tuttle Avenue. Shoplifting. A convenience-store clerk reported a teenager tried to buy beer. He told the young man that he couldn’t sell alcohol at that time of day. The teen left, but returned about 45 minutes later. He showed the clerk an identification card and said, “Look what I got.” The clerk said he still couldn’t sell him beer. The teen then grabbed a case of 5-Hour Energy Drink and ran away. Trying to pass a fake I.D. must be exhausting.
