Community Golf Scores 06.06.09 to 06.14.09

+ Lakewood Ranch
Mark Thompson, Dan Stweart, Ken Miklos and Bob Rauscher scored a 56 to win the Men’s Lakewood Ranch three-ball event June 6 on King’s Dunes. Vito Melfi, Jim Lapides, Michael Dennett and Joe Bornstein scored a 67 for second place and Bud McAnallen, Jim Schrecongost and Ron Zabel scored a 69 for third place.

Barbie Osterling, Phyllis Levinson and Darlene Stewart finished +17 in team quota points to win the Ladies event June 9 on Cypress Links. Ann Kurshan, Jill Braverman, Stephanie Busse and Debbie Reese finished +14 for second place.

John Digirolamo, Bill Gardner, Dick Coleman and Jeff Vollweiler scored a 54 to win the Men’s Lakewood Ranch three-ball event June 13 on Cypress Links. Jack Klomp, Doug Henretta, Ted Cook and Brian Lawson shot 63 for second place and Ron Coleman, Julien Millet, Joseph Segars and Hale Campbell shot 74 for third place.

William Christensen and Harold Wiley shot 60 to win Flight 1 of the one best ball of two Men’s Golf Association event June 10. The teams of Rick Lane and John Siegrist and Duke Semilof and Jack Wagner both shot 61 to tie for second place. Fred Shander and Dean Swift shot 60 to win Flight 2 and Todd Hallinger and Bir Prasad shot 61 for second place.

Mary LaRue, Dot Best and Ruth Gable scored a 47 to win the one best ball odd, two best balls even NHWGA event June 11.

Steve Tully used his 6-iron to record an ace June 12 on the 143-yard No. 9 of Champions Course.

Liz Bostrom shot 31 to win the Ladies Golf Association putts event June 6. Noel Pressler and Natalie Walters both shot 33 to tie for second place.

Mary Baker and Nadine Oberlin scored 12 points to win Flight 1 of the summer partners’ best ball LGA event June 9. Candice Miller and Nancy Kopnisky scored 14 points to win Flight 2. Pat Singletary and Peggy Miller scored 13 points to win Flight 3 and Sondra Ettlinger and Joyce Ferguson scored 13 ½ points to win Flight 4.

Jim Kehoe, Dan Carter and Ken Hoffman shot 128 to win the 3-2-1 on 5-4-3 MGA event June 10. Joe Zickert, Frank Pacer, Bill Wellstead and Bob Tragnitz shot 131 for second place.

Barb Ellfelot scored a 69 to win Flight 1 of the Nassau low/net RLGA event June 11. Donna Raynsford scored a 30 to win the front nine and Lin Roberts scored a 34 to win the back nine.

Bill Doheroy, Geoff Hannell, Mike Zinn and Bill Sanford shot 81 to win Flight 1 of the one best ball even, two best ball odd MGA event June 13. Joe Zickert, Tom Troxell, Neil Hamje and Bill Naylor shot 85 for second place. Geno Lutz, Tom Laken, Bill Ackerman and Stan Flaming shot 83 to win Flight 2 and Jerry Foley, Jim Heotis, Mike Matthews and Paul Filarro shot 84 for second place.

Tim Eisenwican and Bill Cuniff shot 13-under par to tie for first place in the one best ball of two event June 10 at River Wilderness.

James Slaminko used his 4-wood to record an ace June 10 on the 179-yard No. 22 of University Park Country Club.

Pat Gripshover shot 49 to win the low gross portion of the individual low gross and low net LGA nine-hole event June 11. Arlene Irons shot 35 to win the low net portion.

Ken Bumgarner shot 79 to win the low gross portion of Flight 1 of the individual low net and low gross Men’s Day event June 10. Bert Warner shot 68 to win the low net portion. Steve Adams shot 94 to win the low gross portion of Flight 2 and Frank Casey shot 72 to win the low net portion.
