Mark Thompson, Dan Stweart, Ken Miklos and Bob Rauscher scored a 56 to win the Men’s Lakewood Ranch three-ball event June 6 on King’s Dunes. Vito Melfi, Jim Lapides, Michael Dennett and Joe Bornstein scored a 67 for second place and Bud McAnallen, Jim Schrecongost and Ron Zabel scored a 69 for third place.
Barbie Osterling, Phyllis Levinson and Darlene Stewart finished +17 in team quota points to win the Ladies event June 9 on Cypress Links. Ann Kurshan, Jill Braverman, Stephanie Busse and Debbie Reese finished +14 for second place.
John Digirolamo, Bill Gardner, Dick Coleman and Jeff Vollweiler scored a 54 to win the Men’s Lakewood Ranch three-ball event June 13 on Cypress Links. Jack Klomp, Doug Henretta, Ted Cook and Brian Lawson shot 63 for second place and Ron Coleman, Julien Millet, Joseph Segars and Hale Campbell shot 74 for third place.

William Christensen and Harold Wiley shot 60 to win Flight 1 of the one best ball of two Men’s Golf Association event June 10. The teams of Rick Lane and John Siegrist and Duke Semilof and Jack Wagner both shot 61 to tie for second place. Fred Shander and Dean Swift shot 60 to win Flight 2 and Todd Hallinger and Bir Prasad shot 61 for second place.
Mary LaRue, Dot Best and Ruth Gable scored a 47 to win the one best ball odd, two best balls even NHWGA event June 11.
Steve Tully used his 6-iron to record an ace June 12 on the 143-yard No. 9 of Champions Course.
