The Braden River High School baseball team cruised to a 9-1 victory over the DeSoto County Bulldogs in the Class 4A District 10 semifinal Thursday in Sebring.

The Pirates took advantage of their powerful offense in the fourth inning, posting six runs to extend their lead to 8-0 going into the fifth.

Braden River will play in the district final Friday.
