This is George Davis. He’s famous — but only at the Glenridge on Palmer Ranch, where he presides as president of the Glenridge Advisory Council while wearing lavender socks, purple handkerchiefs and colorful slippers embroidered with a “D” and “G.”
But, come January, Davis’ six-year term will end, so his friends and fellow residents threw him a dinner party Nov. 10, during which they roasted him — to pieces.
“I keep him awake with tap dancing, and he bangs on the ceiling with a broomstick,” said Jane Goehrig, his upstairs neighbor and one of six roasters.
