Starting in January, Lakewood Ranch High School’s voluntary pre-kindergarten program will begin offering extended hours.

The Mini Mustangs program, which currently runs from 9 a.m. to noon weekdays, will be available through 3 p.m. beginning Jan. 5.

“We have never offered an extended day, but realize that more parents have to work these days,” VPK teacher Dru Wallace said. “We want to help accommodate families in our community.”

The VPK program is free, but service for extended hours will be $12 per day.

For information about the program, contact Wallace at 727-6100, Ext. 2131.
