Condominium on the Bay unit sells for $700,000

The following residential real-estate transactions took place between Sept. 10 and Sept. 16. A unit in Condominium on the Bay Tower II tops all real-estate sales for the week. Larry and Phyllis Correll, of University Park, sold their Unit 1209 condo, at 988 Blvd. of the Arts, to David Kotok, of Sarasota, for $700,000. Built in 1982, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,315 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $939,000 in 2007.

Burns Court Villas
Jon and Susan Newsome, of Nisswa, Minn., sold their Unit 19 condominium at 1509 Oak St. to Joseph Fernandez, trustee, for $695,000. Built in 2007, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,124 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $948,100 in
2007.

Bay View Acres
JP Morgan Chase Bank NA sold the home at 1636 Baywood Way to Shawn and Rebecca O’Donnell, of Sarasota, for $656,000. Built in 1963, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,380 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.85 million in 2005.

Cedar Cove
Lawrence Hudson and Jeffrey Fenstermaker, of Giles, Tenn., sold their home at 7140 Captain Kidd Ave. to Stephen and Laura Martin, of Sarasota, for $641,000. Built in 1978, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,925 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.07 million in 2006.

Paul McAfee, trustee, sold the Unit 175 condominium at 1505 Pelican Point Drive to Ralph Arnsdorf and Carol McAfee, of Sarasota, for $304,000. Built in 1978, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,368 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $128,000 in 1987.

Bay’s Bluff
Lois Allenius, of Bradenton, sold the Unit 404 condominium at 1100 Imperial Drive to Dava Biehl, of Sarasota, for $253,000. Built in 1971, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,160 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $280,000 in 2003.

Sylvan Shores
James Frederick and Fonda Fisher, of Sarasota, sold their home at 2123 Chippawa Place to John and Prisca Mowe, of Sarasota, for $235,000. Built in 1955, it has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,334 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $350,000 in 2004.

Sheila Belknap and Jack Marlow sold their Unit 7B condominium at 101 Gulfstream Ave. to Belknap, of Sarasota, for $223,100. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,320 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $250,000 in 2008.

Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corp. sold the home at 1940 Hyde Park St. to George Brockway, of Sarasota, for $215,600. Built in 1955, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,614 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $308,000 in 2004.
