Palm Aire Senior Women Victorious

The Palm Aire Country Club team won the Florida Senior Women's Golf Association Tournament Oct. 19-22 at the Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Resort.

Barbara Harrison was named the overall champion. Harrison, Becki Romich and Donna Vasko won Flight 1. In Flight 2, Carol Blackburn won the low net portion and Mary Kilanoski finished sixth while Pat Lehmann finished fourth in the low gross portion.

In Flight 3, Jackie Booker finished sixth in the low gross portion and Edeli O’Connell finished sixth in the low gross portion of Flight 4.

A four-ball tournament was held on the last day. Four teams tied for first place with a 125. Booker was on one of the winning teams. Lehmann’s team finished fifth with a 127.
