Siesta Key condo sells for $1 million

A Hidden Lagoon Beach Club condominium tops all real-estate transactions for the week of Aug. 20 to Aug. 26. Jon Morgan, of Columbia, S.C., sold his Unit 202 condominium at 8600 Midnight Pass Road to Dlorah Hayden, trustee, for $1 million. Built in 1985, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,673 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $385,000 in 1999.

Desota Park
Charles Starr III sold his home at 1819 Datura St. to Hibiscus Street Holdings LLC for $479,600. Built in 2008, it has four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, a pool and 4,106 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $460,000 in 2006.

Southpointe Shores
Patricia and Gordon Rogers sold their home at 7613 Cove Terrace to Wayne and Jennifer Laskowski, of Sarasota, for $312,500. Built in 1968, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,248 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $81,000 in 1994.

Westlake Estates
Peggy Manning, of Sarasota, sold her home at 5352 Fox Run Road to Jacqulyn Lagerholm, trustee, for $202,000. Built in 1979, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,748 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $145,000 in 1999.

Midnight Harbor
Michael and Joan Parkinson sold their home at 1231 Starboard Lane to Anthony Morelli, of River Forest, Ill., for $750,000. Built in 1961, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,818 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $439,500 in 1997.

Siesta Hammock
Marguerite Kaiven, of Sarasota, sold her home at 4852 Givens Court to Thomas and Petrina Russell, of Hampshire, England, for $550,000. Built in 1994, it has four bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 3,239 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $842,700 in 2005.

Sarasota Beach
Constantine and Jo Anne Stratos, of Sarasota, sold their home at 446 Island Circle to Mark and Amy Karch and William and Janet Karch, of Newtown, Pa., for $535,000. Built in 1957, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,840 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.05 million in 2005.
Salvatore Mistretta, of Tampa, sold his home at 325 Island Circle to Ludwig and Maria Cavaliere, of Macon, Ga., for $425,000. Built in 1957, it has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,949 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $790,000 in 2006.

John Carey Jr., of Carlsbad, Calif., sold his home at 5215 Calle De Costa Rica to JMC Property Holdings LLC for $201,000. Built in 1947, it has three bedrooms, one bath and 1,042 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $445,000 in 2004.

Sunrise Cove
Midvale Realty Corp. sold the Unit 424 condominium at 8977 Midnight Pass Road to Dixey and Julianne Behnken, of Sarasota, for $377,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,228 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $68,950 in 1976.

PALMER RANCH
Enclave at Silver Oak

Lyall Perley, of Osprey, sold the home at 8825 Enclave Court to Thomas and Janice Tomlinson, of Sarasota, for $690,000. Built in 2006, it has four bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 3,191 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $800,000 in 2007.

Turtle Rock
Marc Korsch, of North Port, sold his home at 5123 Timber Chase Way to Edward and Rebecca Clissold, of Sarasota, for $345,000. Built in 1997, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,008 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $330,000 in 2003.

Rita Roser, trustee, sold the home at 4878 Sabal Lake Circle to Alan and Rita Jackson, of Sarasota, for $275,000. Built in 2000, it has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,885 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $475,000 in 2005.

NOKOMIS
Calusa Lakes
Thomas and Carol Joseph sold the home at 2172 Calusa Lakes Blvd. to Charles and Carolyn Whittington, of Nokomis, for $295,000. Built in 2001, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,044 square feet of living area.

It previously sold for $290,000 in 2002.

Sorrento East
Judith Lindauer and Susan Otto, of Venice, sold their home at 245 Matisse Circle to Edward and Kerry Wanglund, of Nokomis, for $190,000. Built in 1979, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,878 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $98,500 in 1980.
