Rosedale Golf & Country Club Director of Instruction, Steve Whidden, has successfully completed the requirements for PGA certification in instruction.

The PGA Certified Professional Program was developed by the PGA of America in 2004to further encourage PGA members to expand their expertise in the growing golf industry.

Recognizing the importance of striving to maintain excellence in the golf industry, Whidden spent nearly 75 hours studying on-line materials with the majority of the work done outside of the office. Whidden completed the certification process by passing a series of rigorous knowledge tests, which now places him among the top 2% of the 20,000 members of the PGA of America.

Rosedale is an 18-hole championship facility located 1/4 mile east of Interstate 75 on State Road 70. For more information contact 753-6200 or visit www.rosedalegcc.com.
