Bay View Acres home sells for $1 million

A home in Bay View Acres tops all real-estate transactions for the week of Aug. 27 to Sept. 1. Barbara Etsell, of Sarasota, sold her home at 1652 Baywood Way to Prentiss McNeill, of Sarasota, for $1.05 million.

Built in 1974, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,635 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $367,500 in 1993.
