The Hon. John Scheb received the C.L. McKaig Award for his service as a military serviceman, city attorney, municipal judge and appellate judge. Scheb wrote several books on law and procedure and helped found the local American Inn of Court, named in his honor in 1991.

The Distinguished Community Service Award was given to attorney Thomas Shults for his outstanding and dedicated service as a volunteer, director and president of Mental Health Community Centers.
