Real Estate: Westbrook home sells for $1.1 million

A home in Westbrook tops all real-estate transactions for the week of March 9 to March 15. Cameron George and John Mason, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1420 Westbrook Drive to Susan and Jon Newsome, of Sarasota, for $1.13 million. Built in 1989, it has four bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 4,040 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $850,000 in 2007.

Paul and Ann Cramer, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 121 condominium at 340 S. Palm Ave. to William and Odile Soden, of Sarasota, for $1.09 million. Built in 1998, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,836 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $668,000 in 2000.

Robert and Sally McGill, of Sarasota, sold their Unit K-623 condominium at 100 Central Ave. to Linda and Michael Makowsky, of Sarasota, for $611,500. Built in 2005, it has two bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 1,707 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $566,000 in 2005.

Condominium on the Bay Tower II
US Bank NA, trustee, sold the Unit 1809 condominium at 988 Blvd. of the Arts to Dennis and Trudy Archer, of Sarasota, for $575,000. Built in 1982, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,315 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $900,000 in 2006.

Holiday Harbor
Christopher and Faye Hicklin, Sarasota, sold their home at 7795 N. Holiday Drive to Joshua and Amy Sankes, Sarasota, for $642,500. Built in 1974, it has four bedrooms, five baths, a pool and 4,227 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $261,000 in 1989.

Thomas Dunn, of Sandoval, N.M., sold his Unit 1104 condominium at 888 Blvd. of the Arts to Suzanne Head, trustee, for $450,000. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,729 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $550,000 in 2004.

John and Robin Letourneau, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1936 Grove St. to Alan and Terese Maibach, of Sarasota, for $365,000. Built in 1985, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,680 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $775,000 in 2005.

Phillippi Landings
Charles and Irene Putrino sold their Unit 202 condominium at 1921 Monte Carlo Drive to Robert and Sally McGill, of Sarasota, for $270,000. Built in 2006, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,720 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $444,800 in 2006.

Forest Lakes Country Club Estates
Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corp. sold the home at 2016 Tanglewood Drive to Donald Spencer, of Sarasota, for $245,000. Built in 1980, it has four bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a pool and 3,221 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $267,600 in 2004.

Patricia Jackson, of Sarasota, sold her home at 1664 Catalonia Lane to Kevin and Cheryl Ellerbrock, of Sarasota, for $235,000. Built in 1953, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,255 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $332,500 in 2004.

Broadway Promenade
Settimio Sesti and Timothy Kovach, of Clarkston, Mich., sold their Unit 1405 condominium at 1064 N. Tamiami Trail to Daniel Noirot, of Sarasota, for $215,000. Built in 2007, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,222 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $394,100 in 2007.

Jeffrey and Sara Johnson, of Sarasota, sold their home at 250 Island Circle to Ronald and Amy Daugherty, of Drexel, N.C., for $450,000. Built in 1954, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,499 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $875,000 in 2005.

Brett and Pam Branning, of Sarasota, sold their home at 130 Ogden St. to Mai Carter, of Sarasota, for $440,000. Built in 1960, it has four bedrooms, two baths and 2,328 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $275,000 in 2000.

Adam and Jennifer Butler, of Olathe, Kansas, sold their Unit S-4 condominium at 5970 Midnight Pass Road to Greg and Suzette Alack, of Hammond, La., for $400,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,043 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $605,000 in 2004.

Siesta Harbor
Thomas Conway, of Garden City, N.Y., sold his Unit 407 condominium at 1300 N. Portofino Drive to Joan Conway, of Sarasota, for $285,000. Built in 1969, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 929 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $120,000 in 1996.
