Bayflite brings lessons to life

Children at Gullett Elementary School got a first-hand lesson in public safety and stroke awareness today.

As part of Manatee Memorial Hospital’s community stroke education program, representatives of the hospital, Bayflite and Manatee County emergency services were at the school from about 9 a.m. to noon today to teach children about strokes and maintaining good health. Children also were able to tour both the Bayflite helicopter and an ambulance.
