Bayshore Road home sells for $1.6 million

A home on Bayshore Road tops all real-estate transactions from March 23 to March 26. J. J. Bayshore LLC sold the home at 1613 Bayshore Road to Earl and Elaine Blackburn, of Nokomis, for $1.57 million. Built in 1957, it has four bedrooms, three baths and 2,518 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2.1 million in 2007.

Beth Bloechl, of Sarasota, sold her home at 1575 Bay Point Drive to Indian Beach Partner LLC for $950,000. Built in 1954, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,720 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $76,000 in 1975.

Cedar Cove Estates
Douglas McCoy, trustee, sold the home at 1921 Baywood Court to Pamela Roy, of Sarasota, for $322,500. Built in 1977, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,053 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $145,000 in 1987.

Sapphire Shores
RGF & Associates LLC sold the home at 360 N. Shore Drive to Stephen and Susan McDonald, of Sarasota, for $320,000. Built in 1957, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a pool and 2,240 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $665,000 in 2005.

Sarasota Bay Park
William Couch III and Jesse Poston, of Sarasota, sold their home at 2244 Alameda Ave. to Daniel and Angela Black, of Ontario, Canada, for $287,000. Built in 1988, it has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,096 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $87,900 in 1991.
