+ St. Martha’s undergoes energetic makeover
After undergoing Florida Power and Light’s Business Energy Evaluation, St. Martha’s Early Learning Center received free energy upgrades that are expected to save the organization up to $1,000 annually.
The facility, which provides childcare to pre-school children from low-income families, received lighting replacements in three buildings, programmable thermostats and tools to practice energy conservation.
Through a partnership with Children First, the center provides services such as childhood programs, health-and-developmental screenings, parenting education and home visits.
