Princes Gate home sells for $1.1 million

A home in Princes Gate tops all real-estate transactions from July 19-26. Joseph and Cynthia Sherrill, of Winston Salem, N.C., sold their home at 1280 Whitehall Place to Richard and Patricia Hubbard, of Cazenovia, N.Y., for $1.1 million. Built in 1961, it has four bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 3,325 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.71 million in 2004.

Arthur Shone, trustee, sold Unit 62 condominium at 350 Golden Gate Point to Nathalie McCulloch, of Sarasota, for $460,000. Built in 1969, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,467 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $175,000 in 1999.

Shoreland Woods
Timothy Yocum, of Sarasota, sold his home at 1720 Shoreland Drive to William and Karena Thomas, of Sarasota, for $400,000. Built in 1967, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,301 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $419,900 in 2004.

Marquee En Ville
Florida Acquisition Group LLC sold the Unit 102-A condominium at 235 Cocoanut Ave. to Randolph Coyner and Diana Dawson, of Sarasota, for $385,000. Built in 2006, it has two bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 2,290 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $300,000 in June.

Melvin and Sherry Gold, of Teaneck, N.J., sold their Unit 162 condominium at 1503 Clower Creek Drive to Ruth Brandwein, trustee, Sarasota, for $380,000. Built in 1979, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,320 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $400,000 in 2004.
