Show some puppy love for new center

If you’re hankering for some puppy love, there’s a new spot in downtown Sarasota just for you. Southeastern Guide Dogs will open its Discovery Center to the public Sept. 2, at 1618 Main St.

The center will be a place where people can learn about the outstanding services that guide dogs provide, including classes that teach kids how care for the family pooch. The dog-friendly center, which will host monthly “puppy-hugging sessions,” even has a gift shop chock-full of unique dog products
