The following information was gathered from incident and arrest reports obtained from the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

HERITAGE HARBOUR
Nov. 27
 10 p.m.
— 200 block of Beacon Harbour Loop. Grand theft. The complainant stated that sometime during the night, an unknown person took several items from his non-gated backyard. He advised he woke up and found items tipped over and missing.

LAKEWOOD RANCH 
Nov. 28
 12:15 p.m. 
— 1755 Lakewood Ranch Blvd. (Publix). Trespass warning. The responding deputy was dispatched to the store in reference to it firing the suspect. Upon arrival, the complainant issued the suspect a trespass warning. The suspect stated he understood not to come back onto the property or he could be arrested for trespassing.

MYAKKA CITY
Nov. 27
 2:48 p.m.
— 43100 block of Clay Gully Road. Criminal mischief. The victim reported an unknown person intentionally used a vehicle to strike her three garbage cans that were on the side of the road. The victim has had several problems with a neighbor down the road, including other acts of criminal mischief. The victim did not see who was driving the truck. However, the truck did match the description of the truck owned by the problem neighbor.

Nov. 28
 8:20 a.m.
— 10200 block of 289th Street East. Burglary to an unoccupied dwelling. The complainant reported unknown person(s) entered his residence by unknown means and stole jewelry and some coins from a jar. The value of the stolen property is about $2,645. The responding deputy processed the scene for fingerprints and obtained four latent print cards and a note that was left by the suspects. The complainant was issued a case card and advised to call the sheriff’s office should he find any further items missing.

RIVER CLUB
Nov. 28
 12:01 a.m.
— 6200 block of Glen Abbey Lane. Auto burglary. Unknown person(s) smashed the passenger side small window and the door window of the victim’s vehicle. The person(s) then stole the victim’s wallet that was sitting on the driver’s seat. The person(s) left the camera bag that was next to the wallet. The victim removed the camera bag before the responding deputy arrived.

SARASOTA
Nov. 27
 2 p.m.
— 7600 block of 37th Street Circle East. Petit theft. The victim reported her debit card was stolen and fraudulently used. It wasn’t discovered until she checked her bank account and noticed the transactions. She stated she called Bank of America and put a hold on her card. She was issued a case number by the bank. At the time of the report, the victim didn’t provide any documentation from the bank supporting the fraud claims.

OTHER
Nov. 28
 2:16 p.m.
— 2911 53rd Ave. E. (Walmart). Retail theft. The suspect was observed concealing items and then not paying for them.
