The Lakewood Ranch High boys soccer team defeated Palmetto 1-0 Dec. 17.
Marco Padilla scored the lone goal for the Mustangs while Dan Murray notched 14 saves. With the win, Lakewood improves to 11-3-2 on the season. The Mustangs return to action Jan. 4, 2011 versus Venice.
