Christine Taylor Barrett, individually and as successor trustee of the Harvey Taylor Family Trust, sold the home at 6600 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Paul Gould, of New York City, for $3,025,000. Built in 2001, the 3,337-square-foot home has three bedrooms, four bathrooms and a swimming pool. The property last sold before the current structure was built for $249,200 in January 1996.

The sale was the largest residential transaction recorded during the week of Dec. 13 through Dec. 17 on Longboat, Lido, St. Armands and Bird keys at the Sarasota and Manatee county courthouses. The week had 15 residential sales, more than double the seven that occurred the previous week, in addition to the $3.7 million sale of Whitney Beach Plaza reported in the Dec. 23 edition of The Longboat Observer. Of the week’s sales, 10 occurred on Longboat Key, including five in Manatee County; three took place on Bird Key; and two occurred on Lido Key. Three of the week’s sales exceeded $1 million.

Country Club Shores
Ronald and Constance Stonebreaker, of Elgin, Ill., sold the home at 525 Schooner Lane in Unit II of Country Club Shores to Mary Delgado for $900,000. Built in 1992, the 2,400-square-foot home has three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a swimming pool. The property last sold for $190,000 in December 1990.

Thomas and Dolores Diener, of Venetia, Pa., sold their home at 560 Putting Green Lane in Unit IV of Country Club Shores to Joseph Toy and Shannon Ware, husband and wife, of Lexington, Ky., for $600,000. Built in 1965, the 1,616-square-foot home has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a swimming pool. It last sold for $665,000 in October 2009.

In a third Country Club Shores sale, Patricia Whitehurst sold her home at 591 Ranger Lane in Unit IV for $590,000. Built in 1969, the 1,866-square-foot home has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a swimming pool.

Longboat Terrace
Carlene Gnazzo, of Wexford, Pa., sold Unit 218 at the 36-unit Longboat Terrace, 5393 Gulf of Mexico Drive, to Bradley and Nancy Ytterberg, of Kirkwood, Mo., for $460,000. Built in 1979, the 1,356-square-foot unit has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It last sold for $275,000 in July 1995.

Harbour Oaks
David and Denise Thomas, of Penwortham, England, sold Unit 202 in Building 2 at 2237 Harbourside Drive in the 42-unit Harbour Oaks at the Longboat Key Club to Ewis and Jane Ali, of Huddersfield, England, for $435,000. Built in 1984, the 2,352-square-foot home has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. It last sold for $410,000 in June 2003.

Islander Club
Maxine Ribner, Eric Ribner and Janene Edlin, individually and as co-trustees of the Maxine Ribner Revocable Trust, all of Tenafly, N.J., sold Unit 13-S at the 140-unit Islander Club, 2295 Gulf of Mexico Drive, to Deenie Garner and Linda Latham, as tenants in common, of Sarasota, for $335,000. Built in 1970, the 1,235-square-foot unit has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It sold for $480,000 in March 2001.

Longbeach Village
Ambrosia LLC, a Florida limited-liability company with a Sarasota address, sold the vacant lot at 6835 Hughes St. in the Longbeach Village to Luke Migliaro Jr. and Howard Raczkiewicz, as tenants in common, both of Ocean Grove, N.J., for $310,000. The lot last sold for $285,000 in August 2004.

Longboat Harbour
Susan Hammond and Joan Bosworth, personal representatives of the estate of Bessie Murray, of Toronto, sold Unit 207 in Building M at 4430 Exeter Drive in the 300-unit Longboat Harbour to Joseph and Diana Davi, of Beechurst, N.Y., for $210,000. Built in 1970, the 992-square-foot unit has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It last sold for $140,000 in November 1998.

Beach Castle Resort
Superior Bank, formerly known as People’s Community Bank of the West Coast, sold Unit 12 at Beach Castle Resort, 5310 Gulf of Mexico Drive, to Agnes Peterson, of Stamford, Conn., for $180,000. Built in 1973, the 1,014-square-foot unit has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Superior Bank took ownership of the condominium in September.

Bird Key
Steven Wexler, of Sarasota, sold the home at 602 S. Owl Drive on Bird Key to Kerlyn Holdings Limited, a Jersey-limited company with a Jersey, Channel Islands, address, for $1.4 million. Built in 1966, the 2,180-square-foot home has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a swimming pool. It last sold for $2.85 million in March 2005.

In a second Bird Key sale, Helen Ronnie, of Wilmslow, England, sold her home at 321 Bird Key Drive to Margaret and John Eldred Jr., of Holland, Ohio, for $775,000. Built in 1962, the 2,504-square-foot home has four bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms and a swimming pool. It last sold for $880,000 in September 2008.

Also on Bird Key, Brenda Landry, 210 Bird Key Drive, sold her home at 246 Robin Drive to Patricia and Alfred Lowe II, of Newport, R.I., for $590,000. Built in 1973, the 2,677-square-foot home has four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a swimming pool. It last sold for $595,000 in March 2003.

Beach Residences
Lexi Capital Holdings Inc., a British Virgin Islands corporation, sold Unit 807 at the Beach Residences, 1300 Benjamin Franklin Drive, to William and Roseann Binstock, of Pittsburgh, for $1,025,000. Built in 2005, the 3,057-square-foot unit has two bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms. It last sold for $1.85 million in December 2005.

L’Elegance
In what appears to be an intra-family transaction, Kathy Robbins and Paul Robbins sold Unit A-602 at L’Elegance, 1800 Benjamin Franklin Drive on Lido Key, to Paul Robbins and Barbara Lowenthal, of Irving, N.Y., for $360,000. Built in 1996, the 1,980-square-foot unit has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. It last sold for $435,000 in May 1996.
