Hundreds to gather for leadership conference

More than 400 students from five counties will receive leadership training during a daylong workshop at Woodland Community Church tomorrow.

Middle and high school students will be participating in the Future Business Leaders-Phi Beta Lambda District 18 Leadership Conference, which will run from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Registration starts at 9 a.m., at the church, 9607 S.R. 70 E.

East County Schools participating include Lakewood Ranch and Braden River high schools and Haile Middle School.
