The East County Observer and Bogey’s Restaurant and Sports Pub have teamed up to showcase the East County’s top athletes. Each recipient’s article will be featured on the restaurant’s wall.

Eight-year-old Chloe Millard won six medals and three ribbons, including a first-place medal and ribbon, at the 2010 Florida YMCA Championship Meet Feb. 5-7 in Orlando. Millard won a state championship in the 8-and-under division and helped lead the Lakewood Ranch YMCA Waverunners to sixth place.
