Pines residents celebrate a century

Pines of Sarasota residents who have marked their 100th birthday gathered for a tea party with their families and members of the community Friday, Feb. 19, at the Veranda Skilled Nursing Facility.

Ten residents currently qualify for membership into the 100-plus club, ranging in age from 100 to 103. Residents shared stories and memories of their favorite things over petit fours while they sipped tea from fine china.
