A home in Cherokee Park tops all real-estate transactions from June 25 to July 1. Nelson Checkoway and Paula Morgan, of Ogunquit, Maine, sold their home at 1758 Cherokee Drive to Michael Bernstein and Sarah Skebba, of Sarasota, for $1.7 million. Built in 2007, it has three bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, a pool and 5,399 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.97 million in 2008.

Diane Hazlewood sold her home at 1830 Lincoln Drive to Susan Rakay, of Sarasota, for $1.45 million. Built in 1967, it has five bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, a pool and 4,308 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $717,000 in 1999.
