Siesta Key home sells for $6.4 million

A home in Siesta Properties tops all real-estate transactions from May 3 to May 7. Richard and Jessica Fields, of Sarasota, sold their home at 7940 Sanderling Road to William Reynolds and Connice Bavely for $6.42 million. Built in 2004, it has four bedrooms, five-and-a-half baths, a pool and 5,106 square feet of living area.

John Parker, trustee, sold the home at 216 Tenacity Lane to William Knapp, William Knapp II and Gerard Neugent, trustees, for $1.82 million. Built in 1980, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,454 square feet of living area.

Linda McConnell, of Sarasota, sold her home at 5434 Avenida Del Mare to Morgan Richmond, of Sarasota, for $665,000. Built in 1999, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,455 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.24 million in 2005.

Sandy Hook
Richard and Linda Shriner, of Gainesville, sold their home at 77 N. Sandy Hook Road to Richard and Marjorie Friedman, of Sarasota, for $1.3 million. Built in 1966, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,968 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $410,000 in 1989.

Margaret Smith, of Sarasota, sold her home at 713 Treasure Boat Way to George and Wendy Repchick, of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, for $899,000. Built in 1985, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,898 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $448,000 in 1996.

Ivo Travnicek and Petra Kvasna, of Sarasota, sold their Unit D condominium at 1216 Derby Lane to Marie Jecmikova, of Sarasota, for $760,000. Built in 2006, it has four bedrooms, three baths, two half-baths and 3,230 square feet of living area.

Siesta Isles
Gary and Karen Cadou sold their home at 5348 Shadow Lawn Drive to Matthew Grass and Michele Herzog, of Sarasota, for $712,000. Built in 1964, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 1,642 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $310,000 in 1997.

Elvira Blanchard, of White Lake, Mich., sold her Unit 407 condominium at 5760 Midnight Pass Road to John and Mary Scherrer, of Tonawanda, N.Y., for $545,000. Built in 1981, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,361 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $76,500 in 1989.

Polynesian Gardens
John and Patricia Clark, of Saint Joseph, Mich., sold their Unit G-9 condominium at 1309 Moonmist Drive to Scott and Lisa Barber, of Potomac, Md., for $390,000. Built in 1968, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,334 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $555,000 in 2005.

Siesta Town House
Lewrich Holdings LLC sold the Unit 204 condominium at 4532 Ocean Blvd. to Mark Flannagan and Tamara Wyman, of Sarasota, for $357,500. Built in 1963, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,360 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $260,000 in 2000.

Palm Bay Club of Sarasota
Thomas Kraemer Jr. and Brian Kraemer, trustees, sold the Unit 333 condominium at 5963 Midnight Pass Road to Alcan Real Estate LLC for $328,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,012 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $400,000 in 2008.

Siesta Beach House
Daniel and Debra Hering, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 209 condominium at 5950 Midnight Pass Road to Michael and Kim McCool, of Sarasota, for $280,000. Built in 1957, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 780 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $225,000 in 2001.

Diana Morehead, of Sarasota, sold her home at 1922 Oleander St. to Larry and Janet Coats, of Sarasota, for $555,000. Built in 1947, it has three bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 3,032 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $625,000 in 2006.
