Peridia Golf and Country Club held its first week of its annual Summer Golf Camp June 14-18.

PGA Head Pro Tim Bohan and Assistant PGA Pro Jason Murray taught a number of golf and life skills to junior golfers between the ages of 6 and 16. In addition to playing golf on the 18-hole course, participants have the opportunity to learn basic golf fundamentals, including golf rules and etiquette, proper grip and posture, short game drills, putting and driving, among others.

Openings are still available for future weeks, which include June 21-25, July 12-16 and Aug. 2-6. Participants can choose a 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. golf only program, which costs $160 per week and includes a pizza party lunch on Fridays. A 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. golf and swimming program is also available, which costs $240 with lunch being provided daily.
