More than 130 Sarasota Crew rowers recently traveled to Miami to compete in the Miami International Regatta, bringing home 12 gold and gold-plated medals, seven silver medals and 11 bronze, for a total of 30 medals throughout the weekend-long event.   

Led by Sarasota Crew head coach Casey Galvanek, the young crew rowers competed in more than 30 race categories overall. The regatta was held March 7, at the Miami Marine Stadium, in Miami.
