+ Wedding officiant hits milestone
Nancy Johnson Taussig has been marrying people off for 25 years. The owner of Barefoot Weddings officiated her 1,000th ceremony Sunday, Feb. 28, at Siesta Key Beach.

The bride and groom, Becky Sampson and Joseph Ayers, arrived from Tennessee and were greeted with lots of sunshine. In honor of Taussig’s 1,000th wedding, the ceremony was complimentary.
