+Lakewood Ranch

Ted Cook, Rob Jordan, Nelson Linam and Jack Klomp scored 128 to win the 3-2-1 on 3-4-5 event March 17 on King’s Dunes.

Cheryl Carnevale used her 8-iron to record an ace March 18 on the 110-yard No. 16.  

Nelson Linam and D.J. Budny scored 70 to win the overall low gross championship of the 2010 Men’s Member-Guest Tough Day two-man scramble event March 19. Bill Black and Phil Pothier scored 64 to win the overall low net championship. TJ Goelz and Buddy Yawn scored 66.7 to win the Black Tee Flight and Fernando Pires and Rick Yeager scored 64.9 to win the Blue Tee Flight.

Geroge Swindasz, Thomas Sappenfield, Henri Quintal and Walter Caldwell shot 52 to win the Men’s Lakewood Ranch three-ball event March 20 on Cypress Links.

Dean Swift and Charles Morris shot 60 to win the one best ball of two MGA member-guest event March 17. 

Bill Hummon, Claude Nash, Fred Kagan and Howard Marks scored 3.56 to win the MGA scramble event March 17.

Kathy LaStella and Noel Pressler both shot 31 to tie for first place in the low putts LGA event March 14.

Todd Read shot 151 to win the gross division of the 2010 Club Championship March 20-21. Tom Moran shot 145 to win the net division. Peggy Kunkle shot 161 to win the women’s gross division and Nancy Wynn shot 139 to win the women’s net division.

Vida Doulet and Brian Meloche shot 56 to win Flight 1 of the Kings and Queens LGA event March 18. Holly O’Shea and John McLaughlin shot 58 to win Flight 2. Judy Sanford and John Skelton shot 59 to win Flight 3; and Verla Heotis and Paul Ficarro shot 57 to win Flight 4.

Edd Garbrick, Rich Walser, Marlin Frankhouse and Randy Musser scored 109 to win the 3-2-1 on 3-4-5 MGA event March 17.

Linda Hughes scored 172 to win the overall club championship of the individual low gross LGA Club Championship March 16. Janet Beiler scored 174 to win the Championship Class. Judy Kalkwarf scored 173 to win the First Class. Betty Gillies scored 182 to win Class 2. Audrey Schmidt scored 207 to win Class 3; and Marian Witmer scored 213 to win Class 4.

Dan Carter used his Taylor Made Burner to record an ace March 19 on the 180-yard No. 22 of University Park Country Club.

+Waterlefe

Avril Plowright, Barb Conrad, Judy Werner and Linda Gratsch shot 64 to win the two best balls of four blind holes Ladies Day event March 16.

Tom Werner, Russ Sellars, John Harrison and Ken Schultz scored 73 to win the 1-2-2 on 6-6-6 Men’s Day event March 17.
