In the March 18 issue, The Sarasota Observer incorrectly identified the chairwomen of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church Women’s Guild’s fashion show and luncheon, held Tuesday, March 16, at Michael’s On East.

Mary Ann Jones acted as chairwoman of the models. Together, Kathy Roche and Shirley Cuozzo co-chaired the 2010 “Shanghai Chic” fashion show and luncheon. More than 300 people attended the event. Roche chose the show’s theme after spending one month visiting China.

“I was so impressed with the city, the architecture and the sheer size,” Roche said. “It was just a wonderful experience, and I wanted to bring some of that flavor back and encourage people to investigate China. I would highly advise it for anyone.”
