Competitive amateur athletes Janis Merluzzo and Daniel Fugazzotto recently competed in the 2010 USADance National DanceSport Competition, held April 9 through April 11, in Los Angeles. They won the Senior II National Title in the American Rhythm Championship Division and represent the White Sands (Sarasota) Chapter of USADance. They are coached under Michael Mueller and Michelle Mueller-Lea, of Gotta Dance Studio, in Nokomis.
