The Lakewood Ranch High boys golf team shot a combined 594 to finish second in the state at the FHSAA Championship Nov. 2-3 in Ocala.
The Mustangs finished eight strokes behind state champion Spruce Creek.
Freshman Danny Walker won the individual state championship with a 4-under-par 140. Connor Baldwin (150), Ramsey Touchberry (150) and Kyle Benson (154) all finished in the top 40 in the state.
