Hill named 2010 College Coach of the Year

State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota baseball coach Tim Hill was recently named the 2010 College Coach of the Year by the Florida Diamond Club.

Hill, who was chosen by professional baseball scouts, was presented the award during the annual Florida Diamond Club Showcase in October. Coaches from all college levels across the state are considered for the award.

During the 2010 season, Hill led the SCF Manatees to a Suncoast Conference Championship and FCCAA/NJCAA Gulf District State Championship. The state championship is SCF’s 13^th state title and Hill’s sixth state title. Hill also was named the FCCAA/NJCAA Gulf District Coach of the Year.
