The Sarasota Medieval Fair features a 12th-century village — complete with siege tower — for guests as they roam over the grounds and through the merchants. Around each corner, characters from the legends of King Arthur entertain and engage children and adults with comedy and their heroic stories.

Opening gate ceremonies with Merlin and King Arthur will welcome guests into the festival. The lengthy cast of characters includes the Washing Well Wenches, the musical group Empty Hats, the Da Vinci Brothers, Celticopia, Giacomo the Jester, Free Lancers Jousters and more.

The fair takes place rain or shine from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 20, and Sunday, Nov. 21. Visit
