How long have you been playing soccer?
I started playing in second grade. We used to live in town, and then we moved out east. We found the Braden River (Soccer Club) fields and I just started playing.
What’s been your most memorable soccer experience?
Getting to states last year. The school had never gotten that far, so it was exciting to be a part of that and make it to the Final Four.
You’re the leading scorer on your team. How have you been able to score so many goals?
It starts with the keeper and the defense and then it (pushes) up the middle. I couldn’t do anything without the rest of the team.
What do you enjoy the most about soccer?
I like running. I don’t like cross country running because there isn’t a purpose. But in soccer, you’re going after something. I enjoy it.
What are your plans for next year?
I verbally committed to USF last April. I’m not sure what I’m going to do yet, but I’m really excited to play.
Do you have any siblings?
Yes, I have six: Moriah, 21, Josiah, 20, Zachariah, 17, Noah, 16, Hannah, 13, and Elijah, 11.
What’s your favorite movie?
“The Italian Job.” It’s action packed, and it’s got Mini Coopers in it. I really like Mini Coopers.
Do you play on a club team?
I play for the Braden River Soccer Club U18-U19 team.
