Sales dropped to 10 from last week’s total of 17 during the four-day recording week of Nov. 8 through Nov. 12, which was shortened by Veterans Day. The week’s sales included four on Longboat Key, two of which were in Manatee County, four on Lido Key and one each on Bird Key and St. Armands Key. None of the sales recorded exceeded $1 million.
Lido Key
Marwan Kashkoush and Phoebe Brockman, husband and wife, of Seattle, sold Unit A-302 at L’Elegance on Lido Beach, 1800 Benjamin Franklin Drive, to Jeffrey Gwinnell and Margaret Benham, of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, for $693,000. Built in 1996, the 1,980-square-foot unit has two bedrooms and three bathrooms. It last sold for $1,049,000 in December 2005.
Emerald Harbor
Raymond Wolf and his wife, Linda Gilbert, of St. Petersburg, sold the home at 731 Binnacle Point in the 81-home Emerald Harbor neighborhood to James and Helen Smith, 712 Binnacle Drive, for $590,000. Built in 1972 and remodeled in 1980, the 1,692-square-foot home has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a swimming pool. It last sold for $430,000 in November 2000.
Beachplace
Mary and Arnold Barkley, of Peoria, Ill., sold Unit 504 in Building 11 at 1085 Gulf of Mexico Drive in Beachplace III to Richelle Posch, trustee, of Westfield, Ind., for $508,000. Built in 1981, the 1,503-square-foot unit has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It last sold for $184,000 in April 1982.
Spanish Main Yacht Club
William and Louise Graham sold their home at 957 Spanish Drive N., in the 212-unit Spanish Main Yacht Club, to Robert Chamberlain Porter Jr., of Green Cove Springs, for $468,000. Built in 1968, the 1,399-square-foot unit has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It last sold for $175,000 in July 1997.
Seaplace
Andrea Scheff, of Port Washington, N.Y., sold Unit G4-108 at 1975 Gulf of Mexico Drive in Seaplace III to Michael Dorrington and his wife, Rose Weld, of North Reading, Mass., for $395,000. Built in 1977, the 1,492-square-foot condominium has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It last sold for $219,300 in August 1994.
Bird Key
Anderson Associated Ltd., a corporation based out of the British Isle of Man, in the Irish Sea, sold the home at 625 S. Owl Drive on Bird Key to Frances Wurlitzer for $675,000. Built in 1973, the 2,248-square-foot home has three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a swimming pool. It last sold for $575,000 in April 2001.
Lido Key
John Link, of Minong, Wisc., sold Unit 4-A at Key Towers South, 1750 Benjamin Franklin Drive, to Wayne Huber, of Fairfield, Ohio, for $375,000. Built in 1970, the 1,403-square-foot unit has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It last sold for $128,300 in September 2004.
William and Vicki Sharp, of Fishers, Ind., sold Unit 309 at Lido Towers, 1001 Benjamin Franklin Drive, to DMR Consulting Services Corp., which has a Cumberland, Ontario, address, for $345,000. Built in 1980, the 1,224-square-foot unit has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It last sold for $440,000 in September 2004.
Also on Lido Key, John and Margaret Carter, of Wellington Crescent, Winnipeg, sold Unit 412 at Lido Surf and Sand, 1100 Benjamin Franklin Drive, to Gregory and Gina Hagopian, of Bradenton, for $305,000. Built in 1976, the 1,213-square-foot condominium has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It last sold for $150,000 in March 1994.
Kingston Arms
On St. Armands Key, Frank Mack and Barbara Dash sold Unit 5A at Kingston Arms, 500 S. Washington Drive, to Wayne and Marci Boswell, of Montgomery, Ala., for $301,500. Built in 1963, the 1,035-square-foot unit has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It last sold for $328,000 in April 2008.
