Traffic crawled to a halt mid-Key last week on Gulf of Mexico Drive. The reason for the holdup? It wasn’t a 25 mph driver or cars waiting for a boat to pass under a bridge. It was a box turtle crawling across Gulf of Mexico Drive. Drivers paused to allow the turtle to safely cross the street.
