Lakewood Ranch High School’s girls and boys swim teams both earned wins at a tri-swim meet at G.T. Bray Sept. 29.
The girls won with 148 over St. Stephens (91) and Manatee (86). The boys’ 110 points were enough to best Manatee (92) and St. Stephens (64).
Raegan Sauer, Rebekah Baker, Gilly Vogel and Shannon McCarthy combined to win the 200-meter relay with a time of 2:00.55 and the 400 free relay with a time of 3.55:56. Phil Czupryna, Jon Chaires, Jimmy Cascone and Tommy Bevelock won the boys event with 1:54.29.
Other first-place finishers for the Mustangs included Cascone (200 free, 100 fly); Emily Wray (200 IM); Czupryna (200 IM, 100 breast); Vogel (500 free, 200 free relay); Sauer (200 free relay); and Baker (100 breast).
Razan Waliagha won diving at the meet.
