Real Estate: Siesta Key home sells for $4 million

A home in Siesta Properties tops all real-estate transactions from Sept. 3 to Sept. 13. Jeffrey Roberti, of Sarasota, sold his home at 8020 Sanderling Road to Bob and Ada Bailey, of Sarasota, for $4 million. Built in 1969, it has three bedrooms, four baths and 4,518 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $3.95 million in 2006.

Summer Cove on Siesta
Snavely Siesta Associates LLC sold the Unit 402C condominium at 1660 Summerhouse Lane to Detlef and Helge Schacht, of Chestnut Hill, Mass., for $720,000. Built in 2007, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,110 square feet of living area.

Peppertree Bay
Sheila Drexelius, of Clarence, N.Y., sold the Unit 234B condominium at 6048 W. Peppertree Way to Kenneth and Laurie Vaupel, of Findlay, Ohio, for $560,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,180 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $200,000 in 1993.
Jonathan Weiss and Emily Ross, trustees, sold the Unit 228B condominium at 6008 W. Peppertree Way to Christian and Carol Merrill, of Knoxville, Tenn., for $410,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,180 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $660,000 in 2007.

Pointe on Midnight Pass
U.S. Bank NA, trustee, sold the Unit 2 condominium at 9393 Midnight Pass Road to Barry and Anne Hughes, of Glasgow, Scotland, for $310,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,029 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $675,000 in 2006.

Harbor Towers Yacht and Racquet Club
Federal National Mortgage Association sold the Unit 611 condominium at 5855 Midnight Pass Road to Raffaela Pera, of Ontario, Canada, for $242,500. Built in 1976, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,165 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $275,000 in 2002.

Siesta Harbor
Mary and Morris McCabe, trustees, sold the Unit 19 condominium at 1215 S. Portofino Drive to Simon and Yvonne Pilsworth, of Ontario, Canada, for $222,000. Built in 1968, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 929 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $100,000 in 1991.

Marion Hersey, trustee, sold the home at 1725 Sandalwood Drive to Lori and Damon Sessa, of Sarasota, for $550,000. Built in 1967, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,811 square feet of living area.
Jeffrey Lambrix, of Sarasota, sold his home at 1846 Sandalwood Drive to Mary Costigan, of Sarasota, for $337,000. Built in 1960, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,858 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $177,000 in 1998.
