The Out-of-Door Academy football team propelled itself back into the playoff picture with a pivotal 24-21 victory over Bradenton Christian in Class 1B-District 6 action Oct. 15.
With the win, the Thunder improves to 3-2 (3-1 1B-6) on the season. Backup quarterback Evan Wilson, filling in for an injured Brian Ragone, threw for nearly 250 yards and a touchdown. Wilson also scored ODA’s game-winning touchdown on a 1-yard sneak.
ODA returns to action at 7 p.m., Oct. 22, versus Southwest Florida Christian.
