Siesta Key home sells for $1.8 million

A home on Blind Pass Road tops all real-estate transactions from Aug. 23 to 27. James and Marcia Wallace, of Sarasota, sold their home at 9247 Blind Pass Road to Jennifer Trent, of Sarasota, for $1.8 million. Built in 1959, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,827 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $580,000 in 1998.

PL Development A LLC sold the Unit 701 condominium at 1921 Monte Carlo Drive to Barry Portnoy, of Southampton, Pa., for $750,000. Built in 2006, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,793 square feet of living area.

Edward and Elvira Tkach, of Richmond, N.Y., sold their Unit 505 condominium at 5591 Cannes Circle to Gennaro Villella, of Niagara Falls, N.Y., for $235,000. Built in 2006, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,720 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $537,600 in 2006.
