Ranch swimmers break school records

Four Lakewood Ranch High School swimmers posted new school records during the Tarpon Invitational Sept. 25.

Will Kazokas won the 100 fly with a 52.71 time, a new school record. Shannon McCarthy reset her own record in the 50 free with a 25.13. Ashley Reid set a new record in the 100 back at 1:01.24. Razan Waliagha earned a school record in the 1-meter divis with a 13th place finish and a score of 84.05.

Kazokas also won the mens 50 free with a 21.88.

Overall the boys team finished fifth with a score of 195. The girls finished fourth with a score of 259. Combined, the Mustangs earned a fourth-place finished with 454 points.
