+ It’s a pirate’s life for fifth-graders
Cries of “Ahoy, matey” and “Shiver me timbers” could be heard throughout the halls of St. Martha Catholic School Sept. 24, as fifth-grade students donned their eye patches and peg legs in honor of National Talk Like a Pirate Day. Students got into the spirit of the day by wearing their favorite pirate costumes to school, which included bandanas and a few fake beards.
