They weeded, trimmed, cleaned and planted. About 30 people teamed up Saturday, Sept. 25 to beautify the Laurel Park community. The city of Sarasota supplied a load of mulch and perennials for the occasion, organized by Kasy Kane, as well as a trailer that was soon overflowing with trimmings.  

“The efforts of our workers were rewarded by a beautiful park,” said Suzy Hagglund, Laurel Park Neighborhood Association president.
