Lady Mustang relays take fourth place

The Lakewood Ranch High girls 3,200-and-6,400-meter relay teams both finished fourth at the Florida Relays April 1-2 in Gainesville.

Relay runners include: Devin McDermott, Natalie Novak, Olivia Ortiz, Ashley Platt and Kristin Zarella.

Lakewood also set six individual personal records at the meet, which featured 42 schools. Ortiz (11:06.66) Luke Moeckel (10:34.61) and Josh Napier (11:14.67) set 3,200-meter personal records. McDermott (5:16.36) and Brandon Jones set new 1,600-meter records while Quintin Wampler set a new personal record in the 800 meters.
